Car Mechanic Simulator 2015

I know, it’s not strictly a truck simulator as such – but don’t stop reading there! I can promise you Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 will be one to add to your collection this year.

Released on April 23rd 2015 and developed by PlayWay, Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 was originally a kickstarter project which gained a lot of interest with over 1,2800 backers pledging a grand total of $22,866!

Car Mechanic Simulator 2015, puts you behind the scenes in a garage workshop with all new cars, tools, options, features and a vast array of brand new parts to use as opposed to its predecessor Car Mechanic Simulator 2014 – which was a fantastic game in its own right! In Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 you will take on the role of a car mechanic and will earn money repairing cars for your clients. With the money earned, you can then invest in new tools to repair higher value cars with larger profit margins, buy used cars to modify and sell them – all to build your auto repairs service empire!

If you’re in to relaxing, strategy simulators, then Car Mechanic Simulator 2015 will be a must have game. Although fun and addictive, there is also an excellent educational factor behind it with lots of hours of game play piled in to it and DLC’s to keep you buy once you finish it.

In terms of graphics, Car Simulator 2015 offers an impressive level of detail over the 2014 edition – from the rust on the wheel rims to a cracked windscreen. PlayWay have certainly put a lot of thought in to the game.

Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015

If you’re a fan of truck simulators, you might be interested in this one, and don’t be fooled by the title – Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015 could be a big contender amongst the simulators this year!

Here’s the official trailer…

Developed by PlayWay who also developed titles such like Farm Mechanic Simulator 2015 and Car Mechanic Simulator 2015, both of which are moderately successful titles with good player feedback.

The game offers a wide variety of features such as…

    7 highly detailed truck models
    3 weight categories
Each truck consists of over 100 parts to replace or repair
Upgradeable workshop with individual test tracks
    Enjoy and unlock multiple achievements

Released on the 30th April 2015, Truck Mechanic Simulator 2015 can be purchased via Steam for, in our opinion, quite a steep price for £14.99 GBP. This game is great however for killing those few hours of boredom and is also in some sense quite educational.

Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.18 Update

SCS Software has today announced the launch of the new 1.18 Open Beta currently available on Steam (Steam client -> LIBRARY -> right click Euro Truck Simulator 2 -> Properties -> Betas tab -> public beta – 1.18 public beta).

The new update brings a whole wealth of new features including the brand new Mercedes Benz Actros.

You will also notice that the Mercedes brand now replaces the dummy “Majestic” brand after SCS Software earlier this year gained the license. This means that all trucks in Euro Truck Simulator 2 now have the real manufactures name!

Additionally, there are also many bug fixes in the new Euro Truck Simulator 2 1.18 update including…

    Brand new Truck skins
    New radio stations
    Improved vegetation
And over one thousand more minor fixes to the map and models

Euro Coach Simulator Update

Do you remember those screenshots that SCS Software posted late last year of a coach, in what looked like Euro Truck Simulator 2?

Here’s a couple of those screenshots if you missed out…

Many rumours were speculated that SCS were planning to build upon their hugely successful Bus Driver game that was released in March 2007 and that this new development would be a follow on called Bus Driver 2 as SCS Software already owned the rights to that name. Many others however, speculated that this would be an entirely new development called Euro Coach Simulator. What was even more interesting is that SCS obtained the domain “http://www.eurocoachsimulator.com/” which was registered in November 2012.

After nearly 9 months, we finally have an update!

So, what are the facts?

We know that “Euro Coach Simulator” is merely a codename for a new DLC coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2 meaning that in the not too distant future, we will see coaches in ‘ETS2, although a standalone game is not entirely ruled out. In terms of game play, we may not just be transporting cargo anymore but passengers too!

Scandinavian DLC is here!

The long awaited Scandinavian DLC has landed for Euro Truck Simulator 2, and it’s currently available for purchase on Steam!

Watch the official trailer here

The Scandinavian DLC has been one of SCS Software’s biggest projects for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

The DLC its self is pretty self explanatory and basically adds the north to the expanding ETS2 map. Judging by all the screenshots, these are some of the best looking and most detailed cities in the entire map!

American Truck Simulator Newsletter!

Earlier this week, SCS Software kicked off their first official Newsletter with some new glimpses of American Truck Simulator which is due to hit Steam later this year.

They announced that ATS’ news will gradually become more frequent now that the Scandinavian DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is out of the way. They also announced that they are close to closing and signing a couple of Truck licenses, although we can already probably guess what we will be seeing.
